The Chartered Institute of Agriculture, Ghana (CIAGH) has been duly registered as a Professional Body in accordance with the provisions of the Professional Bodies Registration Decree, 1973 (NRCD 143) in April, 2022. The objects of the CIAGH are, through directed and particularly multidisciplinary research, training and technological transfer, to foster, in the national interest in all fields of agricultural development which in its opinion should receive preference, either by itself or in cooperation with principals from the private or public sectors, and thereby to contribute to food security and sustainable agricultural industrialisation for socioeconomic transformation in Ghana. The Chartered Institute of Agriculture, Ghana is the premier professional association dedicated to serving agricultural practitioners involved the agribusiness value chains in Ghana. With a strong commitment to promoting growth and development in the agricultural industry, CIAGH serves as a transformational platform to facilitate holistic agricultural policy initiatives, promote agricultural industrialisation, propel regular capacity building and training for practitioners, partnerships for collaborative research among others.
