Who Are We?

The Chartered Institute of Agriculture, Ghana (CIAGH) has been duly registered as a Professional Body in accordance with the provisions of the Professional Bodies Registration Decree, 1973 (NRCD 143) in April, 2022. The objects of the CIAGH are, through directed and particularly multidisciplinary research, training and technological transfer, to foster, in the national interest in all fields of agricultural development which in its opinion should receive preference, either by itself or in cooperation with principals from the private or public sectors, and thereby to contribute to food security and sustainable agricultural industrialisation for socioeconomic transformation in Ghana.

Collaboratively transforming agriculture through localised technologies, while providing knowledge solutions for the inclusive and sustainable advancement of agricultural industrialisation.

Our Vision

To become the leading facilitator, accelerators and advocacy body for the application of appropriate policies and leading innovative research outputs and technologies for agricultural transformation and industrialisation.
